I am turning 20 this year. I've been thinking about it for a while, and I realized I don't really like most people my age. I think they are arrogant, annoying, and only care about getting laid/drunk/high. I never go out and party, and I'm usually more comfortable talking to people older than me. The only one I am close to & am friends with that is my age is my boyfriend. Is this weird?

    It means your mentel muteriety is higher than peers your age , but everyone your age is proboly a backwards stupid donkey retard so your proboly jsut not stupid

    I have the same thing. I am 15 and I hang out with people older then me (17-20). And they say that I look like that age, so it is kind of nice. So, in my opinion, it's absolutely normal.

    you're normal feeling this way. view others your age doing that stuff you said as followers, cause thats what they are. amazing that alot of them are the way they are, only coz they want to fit in and some, they're not afraid to admit it. stay the way you are.

    totally normal dude! i am 29 and think most people my age have nothing to say. try making friends that are older than you, you are just mature and thats a good thing. maybe try to hang out in a coffeeshop or something... in my town everything is geared around partying and i am a recovering alcoholic so that makes me have even less patience. i feel your pain. when you make friends older than you, that will compliment your intelligence and you will feel better.

    its normal. all through high school all my friends were older, it sucked though since they graduated and my senior year i had no friends.

    I never liked kids my age. My favorite people growing up were all adults.. I still respect my professors and employers more than 99% of my "friends." I'd suggest loosening up a bit though.. All the kids your age like getting high and getting laid for a reason. But you have a girlfriend so you're set!

    Totally agree! I'm 17 and I feel I connect so much better with people who are at least 25. And what's funny they always think I'm at least 20, can't wait to reach the age of how I actually feel! Don't worry it's normal were just mature.
