I'm the same way. One of my guy friends who I've known my entire life is pushing me to go out with him, he's really good looking, but I keep avoiding it, because I know how well I know him, and it feel's almost a little uncomfortable to even think of such a thing as him and I being a couple. And this other guy who I met in middle school wants to go out with me too, but we went through almost all our years of schooling together, and he even goes to the same college as me now. We were lab partners for a year in high school. And we went to the prom together as friend's, but I just don't like the thought of him being my boyfriend.
When my friend asked me why I never give him(the second guy) a chance, my excuse was, "I know him too well.".
