I don't like medicinal drugs!
Is it normal that I refuse to take over/under the counter drugs unless I absolutely have to?
I have multiple health conditions that require me to be on two pills my entire life, plus a few others that allow me to function normally and comfortably, (autoimmune disease and it's lovely side-shows). Those are bought from GNC and are technically over the counter, but they help me so much in my daily life.
When I'm faced with a headache or a cold or sinus issues due to weather/season changes, I can't stand being told to take medicine like advil or cold meds and such. They have too many side effects that may harm my body (which has already been through a lot) and sure, they work when I NEED to use them in extreme cases such as migraines... I just try my best to eat healthier, get more antioxidants and vitamin C, B12 and omega 3's than I usually do to help my body naturally overcome it..
But is it normal that I don't like taking them? Should I feel obligated or something?
