I never enjoyed eating around people, doesn't feel comfortable for me personally.
Alone i'll munch on whatever i prefer though :P
Perhaps i don't like eating around people because i'm tired of humans making childish comments and all that, maybe it's because i feel vulnerable... don't know.
But either way, i can guarantee you that it's normal.
