I don't know what emotions are

The closest thing I have is an "interest" or "desire" to do one thing over another. But I'm not sure if that is considered an emotion.

    Alexithymia maybe? I have trouble understanding emotions as compared to what others describe. I have emotions but they seem to not fit what others explain they feel so I have trouble relating to most peoples emotional reactions. I get angry and happy and sad. Distinctions beyond become a bit confusing. Even angry and sad overlap a lot.

    You feel interest and desire. Feeling is emotional. Feelings and emotions are essentially the same.
