Go for it... Start signing to yourself, then your family. Record yourself and self review.

Getting the opinion and support of other singers will help you as well.

A reality is that you might not be very good at this stage... Work at it and in 5 years you can likely become very good...

Once you get things down also look at backup singing as well. That is often how people get their entry into being a paid musician.

95% of success is Attitude and a willingness to work and become better... Successful people are never an instant success... the worked hard, and often failed many times. Just fail forward. Its not how many times you don't make it or get knocked down... Its how many times you get up and continue forward (or find a way around the obstacle you are facing).

I would recommend getting an objective opinion on your vocal ability before uploading anything though, a professional vocal coach would be best or if that’s not possible someone who will be completely honest with you.

I doubt that. That's like saying you've never read a book and know nothing about writing but you're sure you'd still be a brilliant author.
