    I'm not really sure if there's an actual question in your post, but I think the whole "good girls go for bad boys" thing is pretty retarded. I have yet to see one quiet, preppy, christian non drinking non smoking non partying girl go for a "bad boy".

    Usually, people who are actually looking for serious relationships tend to look for people they have a lot in common with. The term "opposites attract" annoys the hell out of me, too. My boyfriend is my first and only love, and we have just about every single thing in common.

    Who goes for someone they have nothing in common with, and who will never understand them?

      Opposites attract in some ways; it doesn't mean you have nothing in common with them, it just means you complement one another.

      Some girls seem to.

      I was a bit of a rough cunt at school & for some reason one of the most well behaved & nicest girls decided she liked me despite us obviously being totally different people.
      This is at about 16 years old.

      We ended up going out & all she did was try to change me?
      It didn't work...
