Some of what you describe is healthy and normal, but you do sound like an emotionally detached person. Besides having no motivation, do you also feel you have no passion and are content being single? Because that would fit the pattern
You avoiding serious relationships because you don't like feeling like that... imagine what all other things you probably avoid just because you don't want that specific emotion. As cheesy as this sounds, contentment is sometimes a result of merely existing... as opposed to truly living. Instead of avoiding a relationship altogether why not TELL your partner about your jealous feelings. You would be surprised to know that sharing your insecurities strengthens relationships
Thanks for your answer. I'm only 22 so I still have alot of time to change my view on relationships. I would like a casual relationship but I just don't like the drama that comes with a serious one. I'm a very passionate person actually, I just think I have a weird way of looking at myself and the world and I was wondering if some people could relate. But thank you for your post.
