I think you should think about what "success" means to you. It means something different to each of us. For some people, it means doing something for work that makes us very happy. Wouldn't you want to use this one chance at living in this wonderful thing called "life" doing something that makes you very happy? I think you should stop thinking about success as equaling to how much money you earn and think of it more as what would make you feel you are happy.
