  • It's funny because the country I'm at rn, everyone stuck very close to the regulations, and for the past few months, gatherings up to 5 people have been allowed, while recently we have entered phase 3, where gatherings up to 8 people are allowed. Our community cases are almost always 0.

Everyone here wears masks, and when I say everyone I meant it. Unless you're running or biking or in a completely secluded area, we always wear masks. Because we sacrificed some of our freedom in the beginning, i'm able to go watch movies in the cinema without fear, go to bars (though it's ill advised), eat out with friends and go to cafe's to study. Schools have reopened and major theme parks and libraries are also open.

The regulations aren't irrational, nor is it out of proportion. Thats what we all want to believe. The truth is you're experiencing the first two stages of grief my friend. Just stick to the regulations and the faster we can all get along with our lives, with the least amount of casualties. This country is a living example of that.

    • But how long are the lockdowns going to last? No country that hasn't gone 100% back to normal can claim any kind of success.

Its good you're doing well, but what's the goal to where you can return to normal life?
