Members of each religion are already capable of looking at the thousands of other religions and calling them the obvious bullshit they are. Atheists just take it one religion further.
You're trapped by fear but it's like being afraid there's a monster in your closet. That religion is BS is actually even more obvious than that there's not a monster in your closet. Stop living your life fearing a monster in your closet "just in case" and you'll feel a lot better.
I think god will see otherwise. If you deny my logic then you are saying that god isnt smart enough to know how humans might come to different conclusions on what god is. Sending a guy every 2 thousand years isnt enough for some people.
People lie and how do you know that god wont 100% agree with my logic?
Drawing a different conclusion, despite the existence of the correct conclusion, is still bad. If you refuse to believe with the evidence provided, that's a sin. In fact, to stubbornly refuse to believe is one of the unforgivable sins against the Holy Spirit.
The God I respect is one that knows what humans do when not given guidance. The choice of not picking is a hard decision to make. Now my life is too good to be random chance. So I'll acknowledge the exsistance of a higher being. I just dont know what is the correct choice.
Do you honestly think that the bible is still good after 2 thousand years? Still free of bias from the human hands that initially wrote it? The human hands to transcribe it into other languages?
You have been given guidance. You've been told the truth, yet you seem to believe that rejecting the truth is better than believing in it. Technically, the Bible translation I use is from 1609, with notes in it from 1752. It's not actually two thousand years old, yet. Also, technically, the church acknowledges the Latin Vulgate as the only true Bible. I use the Douay-Rheims Bible, which is actually well known to be as close as you can get to the Latin Vulgate, so yes, I do think my Bible is still fine. Comparing it to newer versions, they are at least okay, generally (not all of them, though).
Atheism is a stupid "religion" to go into. So theres no point, nothing at the end of the tunnel? That's depressing as shit. So everyone else with a religion has at least a chance at getting into heaven.
I'm fine with atheists until they turn into high horsed morons that see faith and see it as lying to yourself. When it is the highest appreciation of trust. I lack that trust so I cannot put faith in things. That does not mean I disrespect theist religions. I'm just honest about my uncertainty on the topic. That's why I dislike atheists yet am fine with other religions.
All atheists see faith in a god as lying to oneself; it's part of atheism: a lack of theism. They don't like theism, and believe it to be negative. Meanwhile, many theists believe atheism to be negative, but they actually have reasons set forth by their religions for believing it, while atheists just dislike religion for no actual reason. Atheists believe that religion in general is not good; if they did think it was good, they would have a religion or be agnostic. I suppose some could argue that I'm describing anti-theists, but that term is rarely used to describe people unless describing people who don't absolutely despise religion.

Naw hedging my bets like this makes me feel great. Gives me a minor assurance that at least blasphemer isnt added to my sin list.

Not really, though. You're still rejecting the true god, and that's not any better than worshipping a false god.

Atheists don't add another religion; the other religions also condemn atheism.
