I do not understand the point

Okay so I 100%% love doing things, being outside, laughing all that stuff. But I also 100%% do not understand the point of it all, like why do we get jobs and not enjoy most of our life if we could if we wanted. Its like we create our own unhappiness. This isn't really a question I am just stating something that confuses me but I want to see it from other people's point of view.

of course we create our own unhappiness. Just as we create our own happiness. Being normal doesn't exist. It's just an idea. There is average, common, similar, alike, etc, but no normal. Meaning of life is what you make it to mean. Human society isn't structured for happiness, it's structured to keep the system going. Your job is to find a little touch of happiness in that system and live in it.

You are right to question this and awesome to have your eyes open to the world. Some people are living like drones - just following along and doing what society or family expects. But life in my opinion is an awesome adventure. YES we need money and jobs and all that but if you can find your passion and find a way to provide value to others through that - creating a job that you love - you can make it all work. It doesn't matter what your circumstances. I am a 28 yr old single mom and traveled the world with my son - lived in Thailand, Malta, traveled to Bahrain, Cabo, Ukraine, Paris, etc and just because I stepped out of the norm. Not many supported me but it was awesome.Still living the adventure - it can be tough but possible! You are awesome! Each breath should be enjoyed - life is just an instant.

Well, my opinion is that you are not normal but a quite intelligent person that questions things that are taken for granted and many a time are just big lies for the benefit of just a few.
Work to live and live to work, work to eat and eat to work, get whatever work is possible and fight hard to get 'well paid' jobs that will be exacting and unfulfilling; getting, or trying to get, money to have a house you almost are not in because you keep working all the time to pay for it... Then doing things 'to have fun' not really because they are really fun for us or we like them truly but because we are told they HAVE TO be fun for us and we have to like them in order to be 'normal'... Absurds and absurds.
