I do not care about people

So I live with my family of 6 people, have a good amount of friends, and have been in a few relationships over the past few years. However, I don't love anyone. I don't talk to my parents that much, I'm not in a "bromance" or whatever with my friends, and I like my girlfriend but I don't feel that I could just tell her anything. When I have problems, I don't feel that I can talk to somebody. I like all of these people, but I don't feel that connected to anyone. Is this normal? Thanks for any help.

I agree with JadedImage. Antisocial for sure. Normal, but lonely. Not cool because those friends and family of you care about you.

just because you feel you cant talk to them, t=does not mean that you dont love them, i dont talk to my family about my relationship problems, i talk to my bff, but i do love my family very much. ask youself this, if everyone you knew died, would you miss them, how much, and why?

Real love isn't a feeling it is a choice and behavioral. Usually the feelings come following actions because real love is unconditional. It is a feeling of care and concern about others without being concerned about yourself. Forgiveness is a big part of real love too. We need to practice forgiveness even when others are not sorry because once again it isn't self focused, it is 'others' focused. The 'feeling' of love which I think you are thinking of isn't really love. It is more concerned with how YOU feel versus your care and concern of others. Perhaps you are looking for someone to make you feel a certain way and what they can do for you. Then after they make you feel a certain way, you feel you can return 'love' back to them. Therefore it is conditional and dependent upon what they do for you first. It is normal, and sad, because that is the mindset of mankind. We are all more focused on ourselves than others. But it takes true strength, wholeness and maturity to truly love others because really loving is one of the most difficult things to accoomplish.
