Me I am a 21-year-old male in college and from a middle sized family. I have a few friends and never had a girlfriend for I do not like people. I would rather sit alone in my room than party, if my few friends want to go out I will most of the time blow them off. If I want to go do something, I usually do it by myself if possible. but if I go to some public place I usually find myself studying the people I don’t know why I won’t remember it later? However, in the in the end I still want girl to hold. I guess the gist of this is that is cannot stand people but I am alone. What comment of advice can you give me.
PS I do not want a dog

    Get a pillow that feels nice to you, and hold that. It's my favourite solution at any rate.

    Actually, I can relate to this post a lot, except I don't particularly want a significant other like that. I mean, if someone I really like shows up, then sure. Otherwise, I'd rather not deal with people.

    Have you ever tried going to a class or joining a club that caters to your interests? You might meet people without having any real obligation to them, and it the focus would likely be more on the activity. Myself, I enjoy martial arts and book clubs.

    It is normal, you are just an introvert. However everyone gets lonely. You don't want to hang out with big groups with people but you do want one person to spend time with and to enjoy things with. This is normal, just look for someone to date.

    The first part is not normal. The second part you will find the right girl one day! Maybe it's because like me deep down you want to be around people but are naturally a loner?

    IF you want a girl you are going to have to suck it up go where girls are to meet one. I would not suggest a bar\club anything too social because you will not be happy with a social butterfly that wants friends around all the time. I suppose you could try a dating website. If you are just lonely for human interaction but find spending time with real people too cumbersome then cultivate online friendships, have you tried play an MMORPG? Those kinds of games foster a feeling a community without having to deal with people in the flesh.
