I think it's unrealistic to hope for the best outcome. Realizing that you're not good enough to try out for a certain team will save you time and effort. If you come out of a test thinking you did bad, positive thinking will only set you up for disappointment when you get your test score back. I just fucking hate when people say "you're being negative" because theres a difference between venting and complaining.
