    how does they know its yalls birthday anyway?

    i been at work in the coal mine on my birthday for the last five years and never told anyone so never got no idiots singin at me not that they would anyway

      Because I work in a place where the first week you start work they put your name and birthday up on a big white board (along with everyone else's).

      I swear some weeks it seems like I spend half my working hours standing around a table singing a bad rendition of 'Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...' to someone I hardly know.

      I just want the singing to be over so I can get my piece of cake.
