I hate this as well. It's like the cheapest cop-out ever, people are just allowed to say "I hate all country and rap" and they blindly throw it out there because... it's a thing to say.
If they had ever spent any time listening to a wider variety of rap, they'd probably find something they like. The popular songs that get overplayed on the radio are usually not that good, so I can understand to some extent, but seriously - who is going to listen to Tupac's "Changes" and say "Yeah, that crappy rap song had no message and he has no talent"
