I desecrate my grandma's grave every sunday

We are Chinese Christians. She was absolutely horrible to us as kids, beating us according to some old world customs for nothing, like brushing teeth in bed. So I take my Harley out early in the morning and urinate on her grave. She died four months ago and I still have a lot of hate.

Is It Normal?

  • You have underlying childhood issues. Seek help.

  • Move on and don't repeat the cycle of violence.

  • I get that you're mad about her abusing you, but isn't it a waste of gas and time to go there?

  • Absolutely normal. I want to do that to my dad s grave. Piss on his corpse and pour gasoline over him and light it up.

  • Who brushes their teeth in bed though?

  • Ironic

  • People who abuse children shouldn't expect any love, or respect. It's not very nice to desecrate someone's grave, but it's worse to abuse a child.

  • It's not harming anyone but I don't think it's normal. Do what you like though, it's your grandma 🤷

  • I honestly don't know, to say yes or no is reasonable. I'll give it a yes, I guess.

  • What does being Christians have to do with desecrating the grave? I did not know that Chinese Christians were as concerned about honouring ancestral graves as those who adhered to traditional Chinese spiritual beliefs.

And 'some old world customs'? Which customs of which old world? The Jesuits who are largely credited as having introduced Christianity to China (if you discount theories about some of the symbols in the writing system resembling Biblical events)? Or traditional Chinese customs before Communism in general (which weren't Christian)?

I don't want to be mean, but is this post real, or are there more cultural factors that I don't know about? My knowledge of Chinese culture is only theoretical and superficial...

    • Your knowledge of wicked grandparents is also superficial and theoretical. Perhaps "avoidance through prayer" is getting the best of you.

  • Why did you brush your teeth in bed?

  • .......

  • Yeah it's normal, but you need to try to forget about her and move on, as best you can. Otherwise she's still affecting you even now.
