I can't trust my best friend

I love my best friend but I always think she's lying to me. I can tell when she is, but I'm afraid to say anything because she's the type to overreact to things and ignore me for a while. I don't want hear 'you should find a new friend' because I will not leave her unless she tells me she doesn't want me around. We get along when she's happy, but as soon as something goes wrong, I get the silent treatment.

But that's the sucky thing, I can't leave her but she puts me through so much pain. She ignores me, claims everythings my fault, hates some of my personality traits. But she has flaws too, but I just can't tell her because I'm afraid i'll lose her. :(

What should I do? Please help :)

    I am going through the same thing. Its hard I know, my guy best friend ditched me. Over some little dumb overraction that meant nothing. He treated me badly, that I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't tell him anything, but he told me a lot of hurtful things. We have the same relationship as you and your best friend. Take my advice, this isn't going to last long. If she's giving you the silent treatment and all it means shes parting but slowly. I suggest you let her go or find a new friend. If she really cared she wouldn't be doing this to you. She would never give you the silent treatment or treat you bad in anyway. Sorry but she is not a true friend.

    I know how you feel I have a friend like that to , I considered her my bestfriend but now It s , over at first it was hard but now Ive got over it , and so will you, and if you realy dont wanna lose her , test her and see if you can trust her , ya and good luck

    I went through something like thusly self. You don't have to leave your friend, but you should look for others, some one you can make a connection with. Then maybe you will get a chance to see what a real friend is like and maybe in doing so your current friend will get a chance to grow and learn too. Good luck!

    You're right. She isn't a true friend, I know. I just didn't have the guts to admit it. I have many other friends who care about me and love me for who I am, but they are not my best friends. Maybe I just won't have a best friend :). I mean, I'm the kinda person who keeps to themselves and enjoys my own company. Thanks :)
