It sounds like your dad is lost without her too and he's probably hiding his feelings a lot. Maybe you even look a bit like her and it hurts him. Men always like to be right - so the easiest way to get through this awful time is to bite your tongue and agree with him, unitl you can move out!
Could you spend any time with some of your mom's family eg. an aunt, etc?
