I can't stand hot summers

Where I am from is expecting a hot, humid, dry summer. The thing is that I'm in my mid 20s and I sweat like I'm much older. Not to mention I get dizzy and shortness of breath due to chronic bronchitis.

It's funny cause I used to love the heat as a teenager. However, now I prefer a cooler/less humid summer.

Anyway, is this a common thing? Also what's your favorite season?

I freaking hate them too. I’m in England and when we have heat waves it’s like hell on Earth. No cool breeze, feels like I’m going to suffocate 😂😭

    I can’t wait for autumn!!

The extremely high humidity would help a lot though, it’s not a desert heat.

I lived in Las Vegas for 15 years, and I can't stand the desert. Now dessert on the other hand I love, I LOVE dessert!

It’s far more tolerable than dry heat, dry heat will actually kill you lol.

Ive always been told humidity is worse but idk I've never experienced dryheat. Ive experienced a lot of humidity tho like 109f with high humidity. I couldnt imagine worse heat than that. I worked out in it too. Sweating doesnt cool you

Humidity feels like it keeps you cooler and makes it more tolerable. Cause you’re covered in sweat rather than it just evaporating

i love summer but i agree with you, a lot of hot dry weather is the worst. i feel like whatever season i'm not in is always my favorite. right now i miss fall/winter 'cause it's cool and i like to wear sweaters and eat hot food. but during winter i always wish it was summer. except now i'm inside all the time 'cause of quarantine so the fact that it's summer really makes no difference

It all just depends on your preferences

I had a full-on heat stroke in my mid-20s. Don't vacuum out your car when it feels like 40C. Despite the stereotypes Canada can indeed get very humid. It's hot out right now.

It’s so humid where I live and normally hits around 100 degrees F. I’ve heard so much about “dry” heat and would love to know what that’s like.
