I can't stand anyone at all

It's been about a month and I noticed that I can't stand anyone around me including my friends and my family. I just can't stand people who are around me at all. For example, I get mad at them for no reason. I yell my lungs out if I get even a little bothered by them. I stay away from everyone isolating myself in my room. They annoy the heck out of me. It makes me want to just disappear from this world. I also feel bad because I was not like this. Is it normal behaviour? I think I'm going crazy.

  • Check your hormonal levels with a doctor. Hormones, thyroid, and mental health complications such as depression and anxiety can cause one to be very on edge.

Some anxiety disorders, such as GAD, can actually cause irritability because your body is in a constant fight or flight stress. And depression causes one to judge the outside world based on their inner world, which can cause people to feel isolated and lash out in anger, especially in today's day and age of toxic positivity on the internet.

Don't listen to the polls here, friend. It's not that you aren't normal. It's just that you may need a little something extra to feel Better. :) good luck!

      • You're welcome!

Also, something that has helped me is meditation. For a half an hour a day I just sit quietly in my room and focus on my breathing. Try loojng up some guided meditations on YouTube of whatnot! It could help! Helped me :D

I would also like to state that, even though you might not like the feeling of being so annoyed by others, do NOT suppress it. It's ok to feel. It's ok to feel negative things. Think of this annoyance as a teacher.

What is your annoyance towards others trying to teach you? Is it trying to tell you that you need a break? Or that something someone is doing is bothering you and you need to set boundaries? Is it telling you that you are interverted and need some alone time stat?

This has helped me as well.

You sound like a hormonal, and moody teenager.

    • As a perosn with very off hormones, i can say that hormones do indeed play a MAJOR role in mood and balance.

Prozac really does help to calm your moodswings. You can try over the counter medicines that work very well too like St Johns Wart and 5HTP. They raise serotonin in your brain.

    • We're can I get these? I've been looking for over the counter antidepressants so I don't have to keep spending 30 dollars on mine every month.

You can find them at walmart. St Johns Wart is what you should try. Studies show that it's just as effective as prozac but it works differently. You'll need to slowly get off the prozac tho i dont think you can use SJW to replace it in 1 day.
