I can't sleep without hugging my cat?

I find it rather difficult to sleep without hugging my cat or at least having her around me. I like to have company before sleeping and I don't know why. I just like to hug something, preferably my cat to sleep.

Is It Normal?

  • It is normal to have pets around while sleeping. Especially if you are anxious or want something to cuddle up with for the night. I don't know about the hugging part it depends how hard you are hugging it.

  • I have to because my cat has figured out to jump on me when she feels me stop breathing momentarily because I have sleep issues

  • As long as the cat doesn't mind, it's normal.

  • Yes normal and lovely! I bet your cat purrs a lot which probably helps you get comfortable

They say touching other people releases endorphins, cats are probably the same
