I can't sleep without hugging my cat?

I find it rather difficult to sleep without hugging my cat or at least having her around me. I like to have company before sleeping and I don't know why. I just like to hug something, preferably my cat to sleep.

Is It Normal?

    It is normal to have pets around while sleeping. Especially if you are anxious or want something to cuddle up with for the night. I don't know about the hugging part it depends how hard you are hugging it.

    I have to because my cat has figured out to jump on me when she feels me stop breathing momentarily because I have sleep issues

    Yes normal and lovely! I bet your cat purrs a lot which probably helps you get comfortable

    They say touching other people releases endorphins, cats are probably the same
