I can't picture things in my head

I can't visualise mental images. I had no idea you were meant to be able to do this to be honest. But if you asked me to think of an object, there would be near nothing in my head to picture it. I would know what it was, obviously, just not have an image in my mind at all. I find describing things quite tricky, and I find fictional books incredibly dull. Thoughts?

    Aphantasia, as previously mentioned. It makes things such as art difficult.

    Look up aphantasia. It’s a normal variant of cognition.
