I can't make my voice a higher pitch at all

Whenever I try to make my voice higher, even just a little, nothing at all will come out. I attempted to do so a lot, but not a sound comes out of my mouth whenever I try, but I can make my voice deeper. Is this normal?

    Careful not to damage your vocal cord in the process though.

    Depends if you’re male or female. If you’re male it sounds like its perfectly normal but if you’re female you may want to seek a medical opinion
