Make your girlfriend proud and learn to live again. It will take time. You wouldn't want her to commit suicide if the tables were turned.. There's groups of others you can talk to who've been through the same thing, support groups. My sister watched her young son die and it took her a few years before she could smile and mean it.She even moved away for a while. There will always be a place in your heart for her that will never change, but maybe one day you can remember the good and smile and mean it and the pain won't be as bad.. I know she would like that..Times are hard for many, everyone has an issue of some sort it's not who you are, so be careful to not let it consume you. I'm sort of like you in a way but I'm trying to find the little miracles each day that tell me to push on...lots to be thankful for if you look.....it's all we can do.
