I can only sleep during day

I find it extremely difficult to fall asleep at night, even if I go to bed early. I'll be laying there in bed with my eyes closed for literally hours or until morning comes, which then when the sun begins to rise I fall asleep with no problem.

Even if I do manage to sleep no matter what I'm tired throughout the day, when it becomes night is when I'm full of energy and the most active.

I've tried fixing my sleeping cycle by staying up all night and day so I'll feel tired the next night, but for some reason even not sleeping for 2 days when it's night my lethargic and sleepiness will instantly go away and I'll feel ready and active to do anything at night.

I don't want this though my family has been giving me a lot of trouble calling me lazy and stupid and when I try to tell them I literally can't fall asleep normally they wont believe me. It has affected my grades at school and I've even taken pills that will make me drowsy but I still can't sleep at night.

It's really frustrating cause 99% of the human race is asleep while during that time I'm active and can't sleep, I hate it.

I have this same problem, get through high school, then get a job working a night shift. It worked out perfectly for me.

I can't sleep for long. I'm an early riser, but I also wake up in the middle of the night. Usually I end up cleaning. I'm glad I'm a homemaker so I can nap while the kids are at school or I'd be a mess.

Yeah it can happen but not good especially if you have school or work the next day.

If you move 180 degrees longitude you should be in sync with the day/night cycle there.

Perhaps you have a slight bit of insomnia due to exam stress??

    I have similar problems.
It's like my body does not want to sleep at night, but I stay fairly tired during the day.
