I call out my own name when i'm scared

I don't talk to other people about my problems. When I get panic attacks or fall into strange, regressive headspaces, I find myself begging MYSELF for help.

  • It's something I also do! I wouldn't be able to judge whether it's 'normal' or not but as long as it helps you and isnt negatively impacting your life then it's perfectly fine.

    • Unfortunately, I have mental illnesses. They run in the family. I meditate and work on myself, but it doesn't really help the irrational fear.

  • I try not to ask higher powers for things. I feel like it's not good. I'll ask rarely, or for someone else's sake.

    • It is indeed odd but I still think it's reasonable. If you consider that in our lives we are the only ones who can actually make changes and decisions, you are calling the right person to help you out, OP! :)
