I blocked my toxic friend on everything

I was best friends with this girl for about 10 years. She was always kinda toxic towards me.. whether it was because she was jealous or in a mood that day (or week). Anyways, for the past couple months I've distanced myself from her due to the way shes been acting and I guess she noticed bc she started saying stuff like "should I just take you off of social media?" And then she started ignoring me at work along with her friend Trev who used to be very close with me. Tonight I finally snapped and decided to block both of them on anything.

Did I make the right decision and would you do the same thing in this situation?

Btw I know I didnt go in depth on why she was super toxic but honestly I could type a novel about that subject lol.

Yes. I would have done the same thing. Life is too short to deal with the drama from some people. You are better off without them.

is it normal that you blocked her? Sure! I wouldn't feel bad about it because it sounds like you feel much better after you blocked her; and she likely won't benefit from having someone in her life who doesn't want her there anyway.

So don't fret, in my opinion your actions are normal and likely in the best interest of both parties :)

I blocked a toxic ex of mine not too long ago who still tried to reach me on social media sometimes. I've had a toxic friend but our friendship ended so didn't need to block. I'd say it's a good decision, you gotta do what's best for you and toxic behaviour should never be accepted.

It's normal you blocked her. Just keep that distance up. No point in being friends with her.

I plan on it, only reason I was hesitant to do it from the get go was because we work together. I'm just going to let me boss know I dont want to work on the same team as either of them. Discreetly of course.

That's a good idea. If your boss is a professional, they'll listen to you,
        :)

He was the exact same way as she was. We all work together and when they'd walk by whether they were together or individually they would purposely walk with their head down or they would stop talking immediately as they passed me. And he's said some really gross sexual stuff to me knowing I have a boyfriend. He makes me very uncomfortable. He did it right in front of other coworkers too.
