Well there's a reason through history people have associated the heart with feelings of pain and joy. Love Hate. While yes, the brain is the control panel of our bodies, its been proven that certain organs hold emotional/sensory cell memory.
It's been documented many times that People who have had transplants, especially of the heart, will recall memories and feelings and sometimes even faces of people the previous owner loved.
The phenomena had been confirmed by families of the deceast person whose heart was donated.
Watched a few documentaries about it. It makes you wonder eh.
I believe we love with our brains, not with our hearts.
