      Of course not, but elected officials (even phoney ones) must defend their power. Btw, this is why assassinations are popular.

        Why would you ever willingly give power over yourself to another person? This question has nothing to do with vigilantism, I don't support that. Just asking.

          You never would. You follow the rules if it is convenient. Usually it is. Power and consequences is what keeps governments running. The more freedom you give to the populace, the fewer problems you have.

            What rules am I following? The most freedom you can possibly have is to ignore government and society altogether and just follow a moral code of doing right by other people.

              But there are economic rules. What if rich guy charges you too much for food? Then you pull out a gun pay him 90% and say, "I just gave myself a discount."
