I believe if they say they've been busy, you aren't important, iin?

I know that I only really ever use the excuse "busy" if the person isn't all that important to me. In other words I make time for people that are important .
I don't brush them off and say sorry didn't keep in touch with you or ignored all your messages because I have been busy. Busy is just a pitiful and cowardly excuse saying you're not important enough for me to make time for you. IIN?

Is It Normal?

  • Maybe don't mention it at all. Just be happy to see them when you see them. If that makes sense

  • Just because you're shitty at communicating, doesn't mean everyone is.

I have these things called a "job" (which is what we call a "major commitment") and a "life outside of each individual person I know", and sometimes I'm busy with these two strange concepts and can't reply the very second I get a message. Maybe when I do get time, it will have slipped my mind or I'll be too tired or it's too late at night and I'd be concerned my message would wake whoever I'm sending it to. That is what "busy" means to me, and, I would imagine, many people are the same.

  • Well then no one loves me, I all ways get the busy thing. WHy can't people be straight forward, spit in my face and call me a lil' bitch. I'd like a lot esp when three days later their corpse is found still twitching in an alley.

  • I tend to enjoy answering messages so much so while taking a dump, a longer dump I end up taking by +50%. Nah, ill hang there till my ass hole is like crusty the clown. Everyone that isn't truly important to me is most important while takin a shit that most especially includes the INN community

  • Are you saying that you would prefer someone say, "Stop with all the messages. I really don't want to hear from you any more"?
I agree that the direct approach might be more fair, but most people try not to be that unkind.
