There are large communities of people obsessed with anything and everything related to the third reich, from sexual fetishists (a massive range in this category alone) to historians to those who love the clothing and symbology, to those who adopt their political beliefs from early policy to full raging neo nazi (and today I must clarify when I say neo nazi I don't mean non third wave feminist white guy, I mean neo nazi). Old Adolf was a fascinating dude no pun intended, and despite political correctness (I'd never show this to my grandma as her parents and some of her siblings were violently murdered by them) there is something undeniably exciting about the Nazi regime. As its been dramatized in media this adds only to the intrigue surrounding the atrocities committed. To be a 6 year old kid at the end of a gun about to die or reading about it as a preteen 80 years later are two very different things.
