Everybody holds everyone else to their own morals, so I think you are normal there. However, your black and white/all-or-nothing thinking isn't very normal and probably makes you very unpleasant to be around (as you stated).
Do you care that your expectations bother or hurt other people? If you don't, then continue on being the way you are.
