I am very black and white..IIN?

I can relate. I'm very different from you on certain points but similar on others. I'm a practicing Catholic and I do drink on occasion. I don't smoke anymore and I have pretty liberal ideas regarding marijuana. I'm pro military but don't support the current situation in the middle east. I wish we could just find a new fuel source and be done with it. I don't care for too many tattoos and extreme piercings are gross in my book. Needless to say I abhor lying, cheating, stealing and adultery among other things. I try my best to live by my morals.

Last year I lost three female friends because I found one of them morally objectionable. The female in question slept with a married man and had zero remorse. Instead she became desperately obsessed with him and acted like I ought have compassion for her gross behavior. All that selfish entitlement made me nearly lose my mind and vomit because up until then I really liked her. When I confronted her about everything she and the other two decided I was this mean and judgmental person. I'm actually better off without the three of them but the whole experience was really an ordeal for me and even when it was over I had a lot of emotional fallout. Now I'm much more wary about who I befriend and I intend on taking my time to get to know people so hopefully I won't have more similar experiences. If I have any advice for you regarding the disgust you feel it would be to take your time to really get to know people before you get too close to them. Guard your heart!
