I am not obsessed with Ted so much as I am fascinated by him. I would never want to meet him in a dark ally, but I would have spoken to him if he was safely behind bars. He was a very sick and purely psychopathic human being who was lacking any kind of morality or sense of right and wrong. On the other hand, he was physically beautiful with mesmerizing blue eyes. He also had charm, charisma, and supreme intelligence. That contradiction is fascinating to me, and I can see why some women would become obsessed with him. It is a very primal and powerful draw women have towards sex and violence. Many women have fantasies about being raped and domineered by a man, but there is a big difference between fantasy and real life. I do not think it is abnormal to be obsessed with him as long as it does not spill over into real life violence or becoming a victim. Regardless of how charming he may appear on the surface, he did unimaginably horrible things that no human being deserves to endure. Was he sexy? He looked sexy, but his sexual gratification came from the pain and degradation of others. I would not wish that on anyone! So ultimately, it depends on your perspective. I would say that if you are having violent fantasies about him and such thoughts are becoming beyond your control, then seek professional
