        Native Americans have nothing to do with just Americans. They are two separate things, at least to people who live in the U.S.. Native Americans will probably never consider themselves JUST Americans either.

          No I know it is not true. I am saying it is a stereotype. Not that it is actually true. I know Ireland has a large percentage of red hair. Places like Switzerland have many blonds and everyone else is some variation of brown and black hair.

              The UK is mixed but we have a smaller percentage of black people (around 2% of the population compared to the US's 12%). We have a comparable % of asian people, though. We have far fewer Latin people. So probably not as mixed overall as the USA, but if you go to certain towns and areas of cities you will notice a high percentage of non-caucasian people.

              I disagree with DannyElf about the 'American stereotype'. The stereotype of Americans is white and brunette, especially the males, although there is also the blonde female 'Californian' stereotype. Blonde hair and blue eyes isn't particularly associated with Americans in the UK.

              The stereotype of blonde hair and blue eyes is associated with Scandinavian countries as well as Germany and Austria to us.

              Yes Uk is as mixed as USA. I am thinking that Hitler might have chosen blond and blue eyes since he associated it with pure whites. Dark hair is the most common. Blond is the second most common. Red hair the rarest type of hair.

              Actually they are not either. The reason Hitler did that was his perfect vision. However most Germans are actually dark hair. Another stereotype that is incorrect. See some of these stereotypes are based on political agendas or certain events or people in history. However a lot of them are not true. Most Germans have dark hair.

    I for some reason thought German; although most Germans I've seen are burnettes. Considering I myself am a burnette and have German in me.

    But it says the further south you go starting at Germany the darker the hair gets, like around Italy and Spain. Then if you go northwards from Germany then the blonder the hair gets. Which there are a lot more blonde Scandinavians.

    So are you Italian?
