I am forgeting alot?

I have always had a semi- weak memory, but about a couple months ago, i feel like i'm losing my mind! I am pretty young, and i have never had these problems before. One day, i literaly forgotten how to sit down. Though that is long- term, it's normally short- term.
Someone can tell me to do/ tell someone something, but i forget what they said, and then they yell at me.
And with classwork or homework, i really do forget, but that isn't an excuse. I know "I forgot" isn't a good excuse, but what if you truly forgot?
I can tell someone a story, and not even a minute goes by, and i repeat myself.
I feel like i'm annoying people with my memory problems, but i can't help it.

Is it normal that the more i grow, the more i forget?

Can someone help me please?

I know the feeling. People around me are getting tired of the "I forgot" excuse, but it's difficult to explain that it's completely true.

It's the men in black and the aliens...the men in black make you forget because we are always around aliens...
Don't worry about that, it's a joke that me and my friend share because i'm always forgetting things, like how to breath and why i walked into this room, and when I was in primary school i did forget how to sit on the ground like you did, i also forget what i've said to people in the same day so i repeat, i do listen but then i forget about it, my family get annoyed with me about it, i tell them that i can't remember but do they believe me, noooo...anyway. Go get your head checked, if they say nothing is wrong make a note where you'll see it everyday, saying if i can't remember what i did last week then go see the doctor again, that's what i'm doing.

For some reason that happens to me to. Like one tyme my mother asked me 2 get her some water and as i was walking down the halway,i went in the kitchen and stopped. Then i just went up stairs bcuz i forgot. Then 5 minutes l8tr,she yelled" Cece, wheres my water?"Then i went back in the kitchen to get her water. Also i would recommend going to the doctor,or a therapist.

With the age growing short term memory is getting weak. As you said you are still quite younger, you must see a doctor whether it is an impact of any medicines side effect. Normally Vitamin E 400IU helps but must consult doctor for root cause.

  • My memory has always been bad, back when I went to school I never remembered anything I was taught and got in trouble for it =/ And I seem to be forgetting more and more every day. I don't often forget how to do things but I forget TO do them, things that should be a daily habit, like brushing my teeth... I forget what I've said or done seconds earlier, I can never remember more than a day ago. No wonder I feel confused all the time XD
I guess it's not normal to be this forgetful at our age... But I don't think bad memory can drastically be helped :C

  • No, i did not hit my head. And i'm not joking. I seriously think i'm going insane. I stood for about five minutes staring at the floor, wondering how to sit on the floor.

    You forgot how to sit?

Did you hit your head? If this isn't a joke, see a doctor.
