I am attracted to men up 10 to 15 yrs older than me... I like older men. And I really don't know why. And I can't date guys who are my age or 3 yrs older.
Yeah that's normal, but you need to keep in mind the difference b/t a boyfriend and a daddy.

he deserted me
he moved without telling me and he and i were together for over 3 yrs. fkn hurt so bad. still hurts me to this day. i just want closure. of some sort.
if he ever came back into my life he knows he could sweep me off my feet and i would marry him instantly
fuck why did he leave me?
he left me hanging on a rope and i'm sitll hanging i prayed for him to come back to me. email me call me something. never happened.
even tho i am married i still feel so sad about it. i dno how will i ever get over him?
if u feel attracted to older guys keep in mind that this tells u something about yourself. what is so attractive about older guys? are they so secure, calm, rich..(whatever i don't know im a guy myself). but most of the times you look for something u are not or u have not. so you want it.
why do the most beatiful women not have the most beautiful guys? (not talking about promo hollywood couples)
because they want something different. why do small girls want to have a tall BF? because they lack height. ^^
so why do some girls look for an older (and so more secure,...,..) guy? because they are so insecure about themselves. and before u blame me a liar at this point,things like that are all subconscious. you might not know these facts but they are the ones that drive you.
just like wakig up someday and seeing that your wife is just like ur mother. why? because on a subconscious level you looked for something like her.
so. if you want to stop beeing attracted to old guys "be" a little like them. in fact more secure or richer or what ever attracts you there. you wont be attracted by something you already have. you never ever are.
Wow! How old are you and what do you do for a living, if you don't mind me asking. And I am attracted to knowledge, experience, and strength/power/control. And I am only 18 so some of those things will come in time.

wow u r sooo powerful. i agree. cuz i totally am attracted to the older more "secure" right? totally. but i feel older than my age, n i thnk that i also fit with them. not techniclly secure but jst older.. u know......
I am in your same situation. I like guys who are older. And it has nothing to do with the whole "father-figure" thing. I just like them. I find that they have more insight into life and I just plain like them better, I have no idea why. I know it will never work out with any 30-year old because I am 18. I know my parents would never approve, but who knows? All I know is, if it isn't normal, you are not the only weirdo out there ;-)
OMG! I am 18 and I fell for a 40 yr old and 30 yr old... but here recently its been the 30 yr old. And the first night we were together we didn't have sex or anything, ya know no pressure so it was nothing like that, but we stayed put the WHOLE night talked and the next night did the same thing. He was so amazing. And really understood me and appreciated me. I haven't seen him that much because I know my parents wouldn't be happy. But I really miss him and think of him alot...
