You wouldn't be the first guy to realize he was gay after a number of years married to a woman, especially at your age when it wasn't very accepted to be out of the closet when you married.
You've still got half your life left to become yourself and live openly. Just be kind to your spouse, as she may find it very hard to understand why her marriage is breaking up.
