I never take out the trash, because it's not trash to me. However, I have a minor problem. The garbage is piling up so high that it's impossible to get around.

It's also impossible for me to access the toilet. As a result, I've been using buckets. If I'm not able to get outside, I will simply put it in an empty jug I find laying around. I just toss it somewhere...... and I forget about it. There are jugs everywhere.

And my house is filled with garbage so high in spots that I need to duck. Literally stacked up to the ceiling. And there are rats scurrying everywhere and destroying my house. I'm imagining all this is pretty normal though. If not, I'd be surprised.

        I only keep clean things not dirty garbage, and everything has a place. Hording tends to be a form of OCD and most OCD people are clean, garbage "hoarders" are more likely just too depressed to keep clean.

          That's not true. It is a common misconception that people with OCD are always clean. Hoarding is a common component of the disorder. I had severe childhood OCD and hoarded just as the person described (save for the rats). Read about it anywhere and you will see you are misinformed.

    It's actually pretty normal. It's irrational to throw potentially valuable things away, even poop, which is great as fertilizer. I would just poop directly on the floor instead of jugs, so that plants can grow. Maybe you can start growing mushrooms or tomatoes in your house and save on grocery bills.
