Yeah I posted something like what you feel in a post just yesterday... except I consciously think them instead of dreaming them.
And I was thinking, maybe we feel satisfaction from gruesome grotesque acts like this because they are a present embodiment of a past experience? I've seen and felt pain in the eyes of someone I love dearly but now I can't stop thinking about its expression in others. The hearing of their screams is a big part in my daydreams too. Like your dreams, mine are often gory and raw.
i have the daydreams too, but not as often. and the funny thing i see is all the people that relate to this are quiet, mild mannered and kinfd it seems in real life. haha.
