I think it's totally normal, and that Vexorg is right about the unnecessary drama. It's really only a matter of time before you meet a guy who is mature enough to know what he really wants out of a relationship, and who will love you the way you deserve to be loved. You just have to wait for him to grow up -- most guys your age just aren't interested in the concept of a real, complex relationship with all of its nitty-gritties, and just as (I imagine) a guy wouldn't want to be some girl's boyfriend just because she wants to not be single, I imagine you wouldn't really want to be someone's girlfriend for the sole reason that he wants some girl to hang out and make out with.
I am 19 and have never had a boyfriend, is that normal?
