You're fine. Most early dating is un-needed drama anyway. It's better to establish yourself first. I didn't start dating seriously until I was 23... I was married at 29... I don't think that's weird at all. Especially in youth, we want the approvals and affections of the opposite sex, and when that is lacking, we feel that we are somehow broken. That's really not the case. Since the maturity levels aren't there yet... especially for the guys... and hormones are in full bloom... dating in HS and early college can lead to some lifelong regrets...
Instead of thinking you are missing out, just focus on doing what you love.. eventually you'll connect with someone who loves you for who you are and what you do.
