Hmmmm... that's a tough one. But you know, you could have a long engagement, like 3 or 4 years. Just because you propose doesn't mean you have to get married in 6 months. An if it doesn't work out, then at least you know you tried and you won't be left wondering, "what if?" If you really love her (and she loves you), go for it! Good luck :)
