Really quite common, although I dare say with the public stigmas of BDSM, Incest, and Child Abuse, not a lot of DDlg couples are "open".
As far as the BDSM part goes, it's probably at the "leastmost" end of the scale. lg's don't get trussed up like a chicken, and any form of corporal punishment is generally limited to a sound spanking of the bottom (barehanded usually). Additionally, lg's are generally less submissive than traditional "bottom" partners in BDSM - and are even expected to be a little willfull, cheeky, mischievous, etc.
The Incest component is a misnomer. "Daddy" is a term used to denote the Dominant's "Upper" position, much like "Master" would be in a more traditional BDSM relationship. A Daddy role portrays a more openly guiding and caring position, where the dynamic seeks to duplicate (in many ways) a father-figure, as opposed to an actual father.
As for the Child Abuse, again this is a misnomer based on the lg's desire to be guided and controlled by an adult. I have NEVER heard of a child of any age actually seeking to be in a legitimate DDlg relationship, and I dare say that the DD would probably not be interested in being the Daddy to a real "little girl".
From what I've seen and heard, generally lg's are mildly submissive, and somewhat emotionally immature women who don't like being "adult". Let's face it, adult sucks - you have to make decisions, be responsible, etc etc. As a lg, all you need to do is pout a little, and say "Daddy, I can't do these hard tax forms, I'm just a little girl!"
Not sure I personally agree with the bottle feeding and pacifier bit (I think I'd like my lg to be a little older), and diapering including poo would be a Hard Limit for me (had enough changing nappies with my own "real" kids), but whatever rocks your boat and gets you into "little space" is fine.
