I accidentally know what gift i'm getting... what would you do?

What would you do if you happened upon a thing that you really wanted and figured out that it was going to be a present to for you?

I found the gift completely by accident (no not by snooping 'cause it was literally in plain sight) and I guess instinct told me that I should keep quiet about it. Later, the gift (which was a video game that I wanted) happened to come into conversation with my brother and he said something along the lines of, "Who knows, I may just get it for your birthday." For me, that's basically the same as giving it to me as my Christmas present, but, as of today, that's two months away. So, please tell me your experiences of how you dealt with finding out what your Christmas/birthday/etc. present was going to be or just hypothetically tell me what you would do if you were in my specific situation.

By the way, the game is hidden now, and I found it almost three days ago, so it would be pretty awkward to bring it into conversation now ('cause I don't think I now have the chance to happen upon it again, so if I say I just found it today, that would mean that I was snooping).
