I’m scared to tell my mom i’m bi

So like I’m bi, I’ve known for a while (I’m 19, and a female) but I’m the oldest child and my sisters are extreme fuck ups, but that’s a diffrent story. Basically I’m the golden child and I know my mom is accepting because she dated a girl but I’m just scared it’s going to hurt our relationship or she’s going to look after me differently, I want to do it but I’m soooo scared too

Just go with the flow 11
Don’t tell her 5
Tell her you wimp 7

You aren't obligated to tell anyone anything you don't want to tell them, honey.

Unless shes got a girlfriend it seems pointless to tell anyway

I understand what its like for you to be worried about telling her or being seen differently.

You shouldn't tell her until your ready, sometimes staying in the closet a little longer to prepare yourself can help. Don't do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable

Why should you tell her again? Do you have a girlfriend that you think you'll be with long term? It just seems pointless in my opinion to tell her. She probably wont even care.

    • No I’m not even in a relationship, I don’t know why I want to tell her tbh I just feel like I need to because that’s what “everybody does”

If she dated a girl before then I don't see why you should be scared, she probably won't think anything of it. I'd say after you do tell her you'll ask yourself what the big deal was.
