I’m massively apathetic towards climate change

I’m constantly bombarded with things about how we should save the world and we’ve only got 12 years (or 18 months) left to save it and I’ve come to find that I really just don’t care.

I don’t want to make any changes to my lifestyle to ‘save the environment’ when it would be inconvenient for me and I don’t see why people should go out of their way to stop climate change.

To me, it’s only natural that we’re fucking up the earth and there’s no need to prolong the inevitable. Messages about dying animals or future generations don’t move me the slightest bit.

I don't really care about climate change either. But I do my best to reduce, reuse, and recycle when I can.

Soooo Sick of the 12 year misunderstanding.

OAC is so retarded she didn't understand that the 12 year thing was "before we pass the point of no return". Not that the world would end.

That being said. It's all bullshit. The climate changes for sure but we have nothing to do with it. Stop listening to idiot liberals who are trying to steal your money.

AOC is hot tho and has amazing breasts.

It must be nice to have no empathy. The poor animals is reason enough for me to wanna save it, and the earth itself is beautiful. Nature is healing, trees gives us oxygen and spending time in nature has been proven to improve mental health.
As usual humans are selfish and not willing to give back, it's so much easier to be a jerk and only think about oneself.
We are the worst species alive currently, if anything all humans should be wiped out and the earth should be returned to those who inherited it before us.
Wether the climate change movement is over the top or not it's only common sense to not throw trash on the ground etc. even children nowadays understand that much. There is no need to act like some kind of a brain damaged trash monkey who doesn't know how trashcans work.

I'm apathetic to all this climate change talk too...

It's like what's the fucking point? Brazil is literally burning unholy amounts of the amazon rainforest to make way for agriculture while our oceans are filled with plastic and polluted with uranium and Syria's being bombed to fuck. And the rest of us are supposed to sit under a fucking special light bulb which uses as much energy to get up a ladder and fit into its socket in the ceiling as it saves in output, with a bag for life in one hand and a carbon footprint counter in the other?

I'm not saying humans aren't affecting climate change negatively, but it needs to be a worldwide effort to turn it around and whilst there are countries in the world who simply aren't on board, I don't see the point of treading on eggshells.

The climate change movement damage themselves with their hyperbolic rhetoric. 12 years left? Yeah... I don't think so.

Yep I'm pretty much the same, maybe not quite as extreme.

I think greed and over-population will destroy us. In order to save the planet the whole world would have to make drastic changes now and I can't see that happening. I don't feel sorry for us humans it's the poor animals who have done nothing.

Climate change is a natural phenomena that has not been proven to have been caused by humans. I reject the idea that it is caused by humans until further evidence is acquired.

Lol and the earth is flat and vaccines cause aids.

Also, I've been trying to wrap my head around this reply, but I just can't. Vaccines have been proven to work and haven't been proven to cause AIDS, and the Earth hasn't been proven flat, it's been proven round.

Just two more super extremely fucking stupid ideas to go along with yours. At least 2 other people caught my drift.

I question why I got downvoted massively for stating something that no one is willing to comment on and prove wrong. The only response I've gotten is your (agreeing?) response.

Okay, but how is it stupid? When has it been proven that human beings are causing climate chsnge?

the state of worrying about it is unhealthy. don't dwell on it. IN fact Nostradamus forsaw our planet being around after the year 3000. I think our planet is meant to survive.
