It's 100%% normal to be afraid of it at first. I hear many good things about them though, it doesn't hurt, it may be a little small of a space, but do some deep breathing. Many people find it helps with various problems and is quiet relaxing. And you will probably only be in there 1hour(max.) at a time. If you panic or can't stand it, you can tell them and they will let you out of it. I understand the fear, they are not something everyone has even ever HEARD of let alone been in/seen one. but they have been studying the effect of it on a LOT of different problems and it seems a very good choice for most people, considering there are very very few to no side effects. Last week I had brain surgery, and I had never even been in a hospital over night. I was so scared, but afterwards I felt that the benefit outweighed the fear and I am so glad I have survived this.
